Closing Protocol

• Supervisory:
• Early Closing:
• Once all closers come in for their shift, a supervisor should be here to check if all closers are staying until closing time.
• Supervisor must lock the doors and remind staff not to close them before they leave.
• Full Closing:
• Make sure both the lab and office doors are locked AND closed.

• Lab Assistant:
• Turn off all computers using Vision.
• Clean the White Board.
• 3-Step Process
• Pull out chairs and dust off chairs & desks (using Windex) and sweep the floor.
• Arrange the chairs properly (2 chairs per 1 computer, 3 chairs per 2 computers).
• Take out the trash bag from office, place it into the large trash bin of the lab and place it outside the lab.
• Replace the office trash bag.
• Clean up office (Windex desks & sweep floors) and make sure that all the office computers are turned off.
• Turn the lights off and close the doors making sure they are locked.
