GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
It is H2AN's objective to play a major role in the
conservation of Haiti's cultural heritage. More specifically, our goals are:

Identify, catalog and study the various sites and disseminate
information to the general public.
·
Promote the preservation, restoration and preventive conservation of
Haiti's historical properties.
·
Engage in the development of national comprehensive program geared
toward the systematic preservation and restoration of Haiti's cultural
heritage.
·
Promote public responsibility toward maintaining and safeguarding
Haiti's historical properties.
·
Coordinating with government organizations responsible for the
conservation of Haiti's historical heritage.
·
Promote the use of such properties for the education, inspiration,
recreation, prosperity and enrichment of the Haitian people.
·
Organize and sponsor numerous activities in the effort to generate
revenues for the funding of various projects.
·
Research, develop and publish appropriate restoration and preservation
techniques and methods.
·
Foster civic pride in the beauty and accomplishment of our past.
·
Promote a cooperative and interdependent relationship among various
public and no profit organizations, both national and international, with
similar and/or related goals. (i.e. The
Association For Haitian American Development, Inc. (AHAD))
·
Conduct educational activities both in Haiti and abroad.
·
Provide professional expertise to both public and private organizations.
Our commitment is to take satisfaction and pride in the work
undertaken in the preservation and restoration of Haiti's historical heritage.
We would like to facilitate and ensure that this work is performed properly
while contributing to the overall enhancement of the communities in which these
properties are located; ultimately, the development of our beautiful country,
Haiti.
Another goal of H2AN is to keep abreast of the current
events of Haiti, although the headquarters of the organization is located
abroad, by using news media such as Haiti
Online.
