PSYCH 300. (Fall and Spring)  Physiological Psychology

This course serves as an introduction to Physiological Psychology/ Behavioral Neuroscience, a field which is concerned with the biological basis of behavior and mind. A wide range of topics is covered, including the elementary workings of neurons, sensory and motor systems, the brain structures and systems that underlie motivation, emotion, and higher cognitive functions, and the neurobiology of mental illness and drug abuse.
