On August 21 and August 27, 2011, respectively, the BBC broadcast two films by Hardy Pictures, Ltd.: a dramatic film and a documentary about Hans Litten and his battle against Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. The drama is called "The Man Who Crossed Hitler," starring Ed Stoppard ("Upstairs Downstairs") and Ian Hart ("Backbeat"). The documentary is called "To Stop A Tyrant." I was the historical consultant for both projects and am interviewed in the documentary. Under a different title — "Hitler on Trial" — the documentary has been shown recently (2013) on many PBS stations. You may still be able to catch a re-run. Click here for more information.
