Get Involved
Involvement in a lab is an excellent opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to obtain research experience in topics relevant to clinical psychology and social cognition. Preference is generally given to students who have taken at least two psychology classes in the past, who show enthusiasm for research, and who are willing to commit to working in the lab for at least one year. Interested applicants should be enthusiastic, responsible, and attentive to detail. Knowledge of SPSS is a plus. Research assistants are expected to commit between 10 to 15 hours per week to the lab. Opportunities for advisement on Honors or Masters theses relevant to work conducted in the lab are available. If interested, please e-mail your CV/resume to miranda.lab@gmail.com. Individuals who are primarily interested in obtaining face-to-face clinical experience with patients should seek opportunities elsewhere, such as in hospitals or clinics.
